After working on both the agency and client sides, from 1999 until the end of 2002 he held various management roles at Credit Suisse Group, latterly as deputy head of communications. From 2003 until the end of May 2009 he was head of corporate communications at Swiss Life. His specialties in communications consulting include positioning organizations and their managers, communications support during strategic projects (restructuring, takeovers and mergers) and crises, acting as an independent sparring partner for executives, and media relations and ghostwriting.
