She started as the assistant to the CEO before taking on a managerial role in the private banking division’s communications department. In 1998, she joined a major Swiss PR agency, where she was responsible for various national and international clients. She has been working as an independent communications consultant since 1999. In spring 2006, Karin was appointed non-executive chairwoman of the board of a Swiss regional bank. Her advisory focuses include integrated communications advice, communications projects, internal communications, print and online publications, and ghostwriting.
